David Finlay wants to make everyone uncomfortable.
Finlay continues to reign as the IWGP Global Heavyweight Champion heading into NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 19. There, he will defend the title against Yota Tsuji. He is also set to face Brody King at NKPW x AEW Wrestle Dynasty.
In a video NJPW posted on their YouTube channel, IWGP Global Heavyweight Champion David Finlay commented on his vision for his reign.
“I’m gonna use this title like a fantastically large set of testicles in a Speedo. I’m gonna make everyone incredibly uncomfortable but unable to look away. See, this title is me, and I am it. To put it in perspective, I became a father this year. I’ve got me a brand-new beautiful baby boy. But this championship means more to me than he ever will," Finlay said.
