Dax Harwood says he and Cash Wheeler have internally decided on FTR's next career move.
FTR's Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler have decided what they will do when their AEW contracts expire in April 2023. While nothing is official, the former tag team champions have decided what they will do next, as Dax Harwood revealed on Twitter.
Harwood also thanked all the fans who have stuck beside them, making them a sought-after commodity in the wrestling industry.
Just got off the phone with Cash. We’ve decided what we’re going to do come April. NOTHING is official yet, so legally, can’t speak on it, but in the next couple of weeks, we’ll let all of our fans know. We owe it to y’all for the opportunities we have in front of us. Love y’all.

2022 was a long year for the tag team specialists. FTR simultaneously held gold in AAA, NJPW, and ROH and wrestled teams like the Young Bucks, the Briscoes, Aussie Open, and more. They even wrestled each other as part of the Owen Hart Foundation Memorial Cup Tournament.
At the end of 2022, FTR began a brief hiatus, revealing Tony Khan gave them time to rest up after such a grueling schedule. They then returned to AEW Revolution 2023 to handle unfinished business with The Gunns. Dax stated on his podcast that their appearance did not indicate a change in their contractual status.
