Dijak assaults Eddy Thorpe with a broken turnbuckle.
During their match on the December 12 episode of WWE NXT, Dijak forcefully rammed Eddy Thorpe from one side of the ring to the other, breaking the top turnbuckle in the process which caused the rope to snap off.
Dijak, having feuded with Thorpe on and off for months and most recently being screwed out of an NXT Championship opportunity by Thorpe, took the broken turnbuckle and assaulted his rival with the exposed steel, doing damage to the previously injured ribs of Thorpe.

A team of WWE officials eventually came out to stop Dijak and the ring was reassembled quickly so that the rest of the action could continue. The rivalry between Dijak and Thorpe also appears destined to continue as the aggression and violence amp up as a result of Dijak's actions on December 12.
