On the March 27 episode of WWE SmackDown, Dolph Ziggler was shown backstage presumably FaceTiming with Mandy Rose, when Otis erupted onto the scene and tried to attack Dolph Ziggler. The two have had issues stepping back from the 2019 holiday season when Dolph Ziggler trashed a fruitcake that Otis's mom baked for Mandy after Mandy gave him a ham for Christmas and a kiss on the cheek under the mistletoe.

On Valentine's Day, Otis and Mandy were set to have their first official date, but that all changed when Otis got a text that said Mandy would be late. Sure enough, Dolph Ziggler showed up at the restaurant instead and the two hit it off, leaving Otis heartbroken.

All of that led us backstage at the WWE performance center on the March 27 episode of Friday Night SmackDown, when Dolph Ziggler challenged Otis to a match at WrestleMania and said that Mandy Rose would be in his corner. Otis verbally agreed without a single drop of hesitation.

Later in the night, Dolph Ziggler would be shown talking to Mandy’s tag team partner, Sonya Deville, and the two discussed how their plan was coming together. That's when Mandy Rose would arrive in the shop and ask Dolph Ziggler why he was torturing Otis pictures of them. Mandy said that she would support Dolph Ziggler wanting this match at WrestleMania but would not allow them to fight over her as though she was some kind of prize.

This will be history in the making as Dolph Ziggler will finally get a one-on-one match at WrestleMania after being in WWE for well over a decade.

They say all's fair in love and war. come WrestleMania 36 weekend, it will likely be a very emotional bout, but whose side will Lady Luck fall on?
