On January 28, WWE uploaded a new edition of WWE Playback to their YouTube channel, sharing clips of various WWE stars looking back on the 2024 Men's Royal Rumble match.
'Dirty Dom' himself didn't hold back when he was shown the clip of CM Punk's tricep injury, sarcastically taunting Punk for his ring rust.
"A 47 year old man tore his tricep. Oh wow, gee, I wonder why? Man hasn't wrestled in 35 years, comes back for the first time, tears his tricep, Gee wiz, I wonder why." Mysterio said on WWE Playback.
Punk returned from the injury at WWE SummerSlam, falling to Drew McIntyre in singles action.
