"Dirty" Dominik Mysterio dreams of teaming with his father against two of the greatest ever to lace a pair of wrestling boots, but he is not talking about Rey Mysterio.
During an appearance on Up NXT, Dominik answered questions from fans. One fan asked Mysterio about his all-time dream match. Dom responded by saying that he would like to team up with his "father," Eddie Guerrero, against two of the greatest bell-to-bell in-ring performers of all time, Ric Flair & Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat.
Even the cocky, young NXT North American Champion had a brief moment of honesty when talking about this match, saying that he "probably" shouldn't be a part of it.
"My dream match would probably be a tag team match between me and my dad, Eddie Guerrero, against Ricky Steamboat and Ric Flair. In what kind of match? Tag Team Title match, and let's just do Falls Count Anywhere. With Eddie and Steamboat and Flair, I shouldn't even be a part of that match, to be honest with you, but it's a dream match. It's what I want, not what you guys want."
Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat will return to the Carolinas, the site of the origins of his feud with Ric Flair, on the August 5 episode of AEW Saturday Collision when he is the special outside enforcer for a match between CM Punk and Ricky Starks for the "Real" World Title. Learn more here.
Elsewhere in this interview, Dom opened up about wishing he could reconcile with his "father," "Latino Heat" Eddie Guerrero. Read more here.
