Dominik Mysterio Says He Could Be "Prince Mysterio" In The Future, Already Has Mask And Gear

Dominik Mysterio may be going by a different in-ring name down the road.

In an interview with ESPN, both Dominik and his father Rey Mysterio spoke about Dominik potentially performing under the name "Prince Mysterio" in the future after he receives more training. According to Dominik, gear and a mask for the "Prince Mysterio" character is already made, but isn't going to debut it at SummerSlam.

"We actually talked about it. He definitely has to continue with the Mysterio dynasty. It's in his genes. I think we're going to incorporate that eventually and create a good story so the fans can understand the rich history behind lucha libre and the masks," Rey said.

"I've always wanted to wear a mask mainly because of tradition. It's important to keep that tradition going. Now with my face being out there, I think it would just have to be introduced a little bit differently so people understand. I definitely want to wear one, but it has to be introduced properly," Dominik said.

Dominik will make his WWE in-ring debut at SummerSlam on August 23 when he takes on Seth Rollins in a street fight. Dominik also spoke about thinking Rey was joking when he said Dominik's WWE in-ring debut will take place at SummerSlam and you can check out those comments at this link.
