Don Callis apparently thinks he can book matches on Dynamite, and he does have some good (already booked) ideas for what to do on New Year's Smash’s second night.
Last night on Dynamite, it was already announced that Kenny Omega would reunite with Matt and Nick Jackson as The Elite on January 13. However, after the closing events of the show, that took on a whole new meaning.
The ending of the January 6 episode of AEW Dynamite woodsy Gallows and Anderson debut in AEW and further the original Bullet Club’s reunion as Matt and Nick Jackson helped Kenny Omega and The Good Brothers fend off attackers before standing in the middle of the ring and using the “too sweet” hand symbol.
After the show, AEW digital caught up with Kenny Omega and Don Callis and Callis once again to credit for the reunion before saying that he was booking Kenny Omega in a six-man tag match with Matt and Nick Jackson for next week's episode oh, something that had already been announced, and refused to announce who they would be facing, something that also was not disclosed earlier in the night.
“Let’s have an Elite reunion as @KennyOmegamanX the AEW World Champ & the World Tag Team Champs have a 6-man tag-team next week!” -@TheDonCallis.
