Drew McIntyre says don't believe what you hear about him.
McIntyre made his surprise return on the December 2 episode of WWE Raw, as he attacked Sami Zayn after the main event, where Zayn lost to Seth Rollins.
After the show, Drew McIntyre took to Twitter/X and commented on his return. He said that if you don't hear it from him, live on WWE programming or his social media channels, assume everything you hear about him is not true. McIntyre also noted that everyone had forgotten so quickly.

Before his return, McIntyre had not appeared on WWE programming since he lost to CM Punk in a Hell in a Cell match at WWE Bad Blood on October 5.
