Drew McIntyre believes anything is possible and WWE is open for business.
Recently, there was a report that WWE was talking with New Japan Pro-Wrestling in regards to a potential working relationship.
Following this, several wrestlers in both promotions reacted to the news with playful teases on social media. Perhaps the most noteworthy, Drew McIntyre hyped an upcoming match with Kofi Kingston by using an acronym that spells out “Okada.”

While Drew McIntyre has been on top of WWE for the last year and a half, Kazuchika Okada has been a pillar of NJPW for much longer. Always proud of his love for all professional wrestling, McIntyre would genuinely like to step into the ring with the “Rainmaker.”
Speaking with Riju Dasgupta of Sportskeeda, Drew McIntyre said that he doesn't want to rule the match out entirely, believing that WWE has shown that it is “open for business.”
"I mean I'm not going to say that we're never going to see it ever. But I will say that I like to have fun. And I like to play out to things online. So, if you notice anything weird about something I say or something I do, there's generally a reason behind it as you noticed. But that's a match I'd love to have if it ever is possible.”
He continued, “As we've seen over the last few years, with all the different companies in the world and people working together, WWE is always open for business if it's the right situation. If it makes sense for business, that would be the match I would love."
In the past, Okada has mentioned that he would like to take part in a supercard featuring wrestlers of promotion under one roof. Learn more here.
