Dustin Rhodes: I'd Love For Tony Khan To Create A Program Similar To WWE ID

Dustin Rhodes would like to see Tony Khan create a WWE ID-esque program for AEW.

WWE ID has seemingly been a very successful program thus far, as it has platformed up and coming independent names like Marcus Mathers, Sean Legacy, Zayda Steel, and Jackson Drake.

Many fans have called for AEW to create a similar program, saying that it would only benefit the company's long term furture. As it turns out, Dustin Rhodes agrees with this idea.

While speaking to WFAA 8 for a new interview, Rhodes was asked about his school, the Rhodes Wrestling Academy, possibly becoming a WWE ID school. After explaining why that wouldn't work, Rhodes said that he'd love for Tony Khan to start a similar program.

“I don’t think through WWE because I’m here and I think that’s probably the reason they haven’t reached out, right, because I’m contracted with All Elite Wrestling. I would love for Tony to do that with us where we have a little type thing, that would be kind of cool for some of our schools, especially me since I’m like one of the originals here.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Rhodes said that he wants to have a big match at AEW All In Texas. Learn more by clicking here.
