Dwight Howard Says Ric Flair Told Him His Knees Weren't Good For Wrestling

Dwight Howard's wrestling dreams appear to be over after he spoke with Ric Flair.

Speaking to TMZ Sports, Dwight Howard said about his future in pro wrestling, "I was talking to Ric Flair. He said I don't know if my knees is good for wrestling. My knees feel good, it's just wrestling. Your talking about picking up 300-pound dudes and all that stuff. Nobody wants to do that for their whole life!"

Howard was part of the WWE SummerSlam 2022 tryouts, getting on stage and cutting a promo.

Triple H said at the time that the ball was in Howard's court.

Howard has been playing basketball overseas for the Taiwan Mustangs. He won an NBA Championship with the Los Angeles Lakers in 2020 and is an eight-time NBA All Star. He won the T1 League Most Valuable Import trophy in 2023.

He is set to compete on the upcoming season of Dancing With The Stars.
