EC3 could potentially be coming back to IMPACT, if tonight's episode of IMPACT is to be believed.
Immediately after Moose's TNA World Heavyweight Championship match against Hernandez, EC3's theme song played just as Moose was celebrating a successful title defense.

EC3 was one of dozens of WWE wrestlers, producers and employees who were either released or furloughed by the company back in April. Since then, EC3 had been posting videos on social media with one of them being him watching an IMPACT Slammiversary teaser commercial. Slammiversary will take place on July 18.
The last time EC3, who competed in TNA/IMPACT as Ethan Carter III, wrestled for the company was back in early 2018. Since then, EC3 signed with WWE, starting out in NXT and eventually wrestling on a number of WWE's different brands. EC3, a former 24/7 Champion, last wrestled for WWE in September 2019.
