Edge Addresses Future On WWE Raw, Gets Hit With An RKO From Randy Orton

Edge is back but didn't leave Monday Night Raw unscathed.

After his surprising return at the Royal Rumble on January 26, Edge appeared on Raw to talk about his future. Edge said he was medically disqualified from ever competing again, but then he got a second neck surgery and got in the best shape of his career at 46 years old so that he can return to WWE and finish his career on his own terms.

The WWE Hall of Famer spoke about meeting new faces in the Royal Rumble such as Matt Riddle and Kevin Owens. Edge would continue saying that he's not sure how long this comeback run is going to last.

Randy Orton then appeared and made his way to the ring, first embracing Edge. Then, after Orton appeared to be proposing a Rated-RKO reunion, Orton hit Edge with an RKO, followed by several hits from a steel chair. Orton then finalized his attack with a one-man con-chair-to to Edge, who was lying on the mat.

Edge has been taken to a local medical facility following an attack by Randy Orton at the conclusion of Raw, WWE.com has learned.

The WWE Hall of Famer, who returned to Raw following an in-ring comeback at the 2020 Royal Rumble event, was celebrating his improbable return from retirement when Orton attacked, targeting Edge’s surgically-repaired neck with several steel chair strikes.
