El Phantasmo and Hikuleo won the NJPW Strong Openweight Tag Team Titles at NJPW Destruction in Ryogoku, defeating Bullet Club War Dogs (Alex Coughlin & Gabe Kidd).
The finish saw Phantasmo hit Super Thunder Kiss 86 on Coughlin for the victory.

This marks the first reign as NJPW Strong Openweight Tag Team Champions for Phantasmo & Hikuleo. Coughlin & Kidd held the titles for 97 days, winning them from Bishamon (Hirooki Goto & YOSHI-HASHI) at NJPW Strong Independence Day. They made zero successful defenses of the titles.
