Ember has found the comradery.
Former NXT Women's Champion Ember Moon is now two months in to her main roster career in WWE. In those two months she has picked up victories over some of the top stars of RAW's women's division. Ember will also be vying for an opportunity at the RAW Women's Championship as she will be competing in the Women's Money In The Bank Ladder match tomorrow during the 'Money In The Bank' PPV. Although the competitors of RAW's women's division are looking to reach the top of the mountain they have all welcomed Ember in with open arms. Moon stated to TV Insider that the entire women's locker room has been nothing but great to her.
“Any question I’ve had since I moved up is always answered with open arms and smile on their face,” she said. "The women at RAW have been phenomenal to me." She continued, "You have Natalya, who I’ve idolized since I’ve first started wrestling. You have so many women that have paved the way for us like Sasha, Bayley and Bliss. So many women who continually try to stay on top. Of course, that is going to bring the competitiveness within myself or anyone there. I think also that competitive nature brings out a certain air of teamwork too because we have a lot of firsts that are yet to happen. I think we want to continue to move this ‘Women’s Evolution’ forward. You can’t do that if someone is lazy or lagging behind."
Ember has also had the opportunity to team up with her fellow brand-comrade Ronda Rousey at a WWE live event and she witnessed the soon-to-be UFC Hall Of Famer go to work. Ember is aware of the buzz that is currently hovering over Ronda because of the RAW Women's Championship match tomorrow night but Ember shared that from working with Ronda in the ring, that the "Rowdy" one is more than ready for the highly anticipated bout.
“Not only did she pave the way for women in the UFC, she is going to continue to do that here,” Moon said. “Working with Ronda for the first time, she is a really, really hard worker. She just wants to be good and the best, that’s all what anyone wants. To me, that gives me a line of thinking that I need to step up my game. That’s Ronda freakin’ Rousey, the baddest women on the planet. If I can get my name just as high as that, but in WWE, the sky is the limit for me. There is a lot of buzz for Ronda. What can she do? What can’t she do? I can tell you this from working with her on the U.K. tour and training with her a little bit before the RAW shows in the ring, she’s definitely ready. She is going to pose a massive threat to Nia Jax this weekend.”
'Money In The Bank' is tomorrow night and the show will have a special start time of 7 PM. To take a look at the match card for the show head over to Fightful's "events" section.
