Eric Bischoff And Other Legends Appear, Cody Rhodes Attacks Brock Lesnar | Raw Fight Size

Here is your post-Monday Night Raw fight size update for May 1, 2023.

- WWE Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff, Rob Van Dam, Shawn Michaels, Booker T, Sharmell, JBL, Teddy Long, and other legends appeared throughout the show as presenters of draft picks in the 2023 WWE Draft.

- Shawn Michaels and Adam Pearce came out to present picks for the third round of the WWE Draft, but Brock Lesnar interrupted. Pearce called out security guards, but Lesnar refused to move. Cody Rhodes attacked him from behind, and Lesnar escaped. Rhodes yelled “Make me earn it” as Lesnar walked away.

- Omos scored a dominant win over Anthony Alanis, a local competitor.

- SmackDown Women's Champion Rhea Ripley, Austin Theory, and other stars were selected in the first round on the second night of the WWE Draft.

- Cameron Grimes and Pretty Deadly (Elton Prince and Kit Wilson), among other NXT stars, were selected during the WWE Draft.

- Triple H announced that Brock Lesnar was a free agent, so he was free to appear on both brands.

- WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez faced Bayley and Dakota Kai of Damage CTRL. After a hard-fought win, Kai and Bayley scored the win over the champions.

- Matt Riddle faced Jimmy Uso in a singles match. Early on, Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens got Jey Uso ejected from ringside by pretending that he hit Owens with a chair. In the end, Riddle scored the win with the Floating Bro.

- Braun Strowman and Ricochet defeated Alpha Academy (Chad Gable & Otis).

- Backstage, Paul Heyman told Solo Sikoa to take out Matt Riddle. Jey Uso asked Sikoa why he wasn’t there at ringside for Jimmy’s match, and Heyman said he was focused on his assignment from Paul Heyman.

- A video package recapped the feud between Bad Bunny and Damian Priest.

-The Miz hosted Miz TV with Shinsuke Nakamura. The Miz brought up the new WWE World Heavyweight Championship and referred to himself as the ultimate workhorse. He suggested that he and Nakamura should join forces. Nakamura responded by telling The Miz he’s the guy with tiny balls. Miz took a swing at Nakamura, and “The King of Strong Style” dropped him with a Kinshasha.

- Paul Heyman came to the ring and addressed a number of “business items” on behalf of Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns. He noted that the fate of The Usos (Jimmy & Key Uso) would be determined that very night. Heyman commented on The Bloodline’s six-man tag team match at WWE Backlash. He teased that Reigns could win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship before he reminded everyone that the title was exclusive to WWE RAW. Heyman took some shots at Seth Rollins, who then came to the ring. Rollins noted that Reigns wouldn’t have to run from him anymore. He continued to antagonize Heyman, who took a call from Reigns and said Rollins was frustrating “The Tribal Chief.” Rollins teased stomping Heyman before Solo Sikoa came to the ring, and Rollins agreed to face him in a match.

- A video package hyped up IYO SKY.

- The Judgment Day (Damian Priest, Finn Balor, Rhea Ripley, and Dominik Mysterio) discussed their upcoming matches at WWE Backlash, and Priest sent a heated message to Bad Bunny.

- Damian Priest pinned Rey Mysterio in a six-person tag team match where he, Dominik Mysterio,, and Rhea Ripley faced The LWO (Rey Mysterio, and Santos Esobar, and Zelina Vega.

- Backstage, Cody Rhodes said Brock Lesnar has been in his head for weeks, and he may have negotiated a sweet deal for himself, but Brock won’t get what he wants at WWE Backlash. Rhodes stated that he has to win at WWE Backlash.

- Damage CTRL interrupted an interview with Raw Women's Champion Bianca Belair backstage, and they discussed Belair's match with SKY at WWE Backlash. Belair said Bayley and Dakota Kai were holding SKY back.

- Solo Sikoa battled Seth Rollins in the main event. The Usos (Jimmy and Jey) attacked Rollins, so the match ended in a disqualification, but Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens, and Matt Riddle made the save.

- On Raw Talk, WWE United States Champion Austin Theory shared his thoughts on getting drafted to WWE SmackDown. He also looked ahead to his title match at WWE Backlash.

- The Judgment Day (Rhea Ripley, Damian Priest, Finn Balor, and Dominik Mysterio) discussed their eventful night on WWE Raw Talk. Plus, Rick Boogs commented on getting drafted to WWE SmackDown. Elias hyped up his status as a free agent and noted that he wasn’t limited to either brand.

- Xavier Woods commented on getting drafted to WWE Raw.

- The final picks of the WWE Draft were announced during Raw Talk.

- Grayson Waller shared his thoughts on getting drafted to WWE SmackDown on Raw Talk. He made it clear that he had a chip on his shoulder, and he was surprised it took so long.
