Eric Young comments on his return to IMPACT Wrestling.
At IMPACT Slammiversary on July 15, Young made his surprise return to the promotion as he was revealed as Scott D'Amore's partner for a tag team match against Bully Ray and Deaner. The former Team Canada stablemates emerged victorious to end the first night of Young's return on a triumphant note.
In a tweet, Young shared his thoughts on the event and noted that it felt good and right. He stated that he made a hard choice, but there was no doubt in his mind that it was the right one.

Young, a former IMPACT World Champion, left the company in November 2022. He was "killed off" when Deaner stabbed him on-screen on the December 1, 2022 episode of IMPACT Wrestling. Young then signed with WWE, but he never re-debuted on-screen following his return to the company, and he asked for his WWE release in April. Fightful Select has more details on Young's WWE exit and his return to IMPACT.
