Eric Young confirms he has signed an exclusive contract with IMPACT Wrestling.
Young spoke with Gary Cassidy of Sportskeeda and said, "Yeah, I am on an exclusive contract with IMPACT. I'm very excited about that!" Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Young was released by WWE on April 15 as part of the company-wide cutbacks due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Following the expiration of his 90-day non-compete clause, Young returned to IMPACT at Slammiversary as a mystery opponent in the main event for the vacant IMPACT World Title.
Young worked in TNA/IMPACT from 2004 to 2016 before leaving to sign with WWE NXT. He is a TNA Triple Crown Champion, having held the World, Tag Team, and X Division titles throughout his time in the company. He is currently involved in a storyline with Rich Swann.
