Ethan Page Explains Why He Believes NXT Sees More In Him Than AEW

Ethan Page has flourished since joining NXT after leaving AEW, winning the NXT Championship and sharing the screen in a backstage segment with The Rock.

Page was seldom used on AEW television before moving to ROH, where he had a lengthy feud with Tony Nese before being off television again.

Speaking to Bully Ray on Busted Open After Dark, Page was asked why he believes AEW saw nothing in him while NXT sees everything.

"This company is run by wrestlers," Page stated.

Asked to elaborate, Page said, "[AEW] didn't know what they had, and now they do. I'm gone. These guys have me. They have the ability to do whatever it is that they want, and they have chosen to open a door for Ethan Page to absolutely kick wide open."

Page is smiling more than ever on NXT television as he's taken out Je'Von Evans, Cedric Alexander, and Dante Chen in recent weeks on NXT TV.
