Ethan Page Inks Two-Year Deal With IMPACT Wrestling

All Ego sticks with IMPACT Wrestling.

Ethan Page is the latest talent to be signed to a new contract. IMPACT confirmed that Page has agreed to a  two-year deal with the company. Page made his debut in IMPACT in October 2018, interfering in a bout between Rich Swann and Matt Sydal, helping Sydal secure the victory. Page and Sydal teamed at Bound For Glory 2018, losing to Swann and Willie Mack. At the recent IMPACT Homecoming event, Page competed in Ultimate X for the X Division Title, but it was Swann who captured the belt.

In an interview with SLAM, Page discussed his skill set and place in IMPACT.

"I know what I bring to the table, and I don't want to knock myself, but my wrestling is maybe second tier to storytelling or cutting a promo, so it's super-strange for me that the last year has been spent just being given time to solely wrestle, because they know I'll have a good match," said Page. "It's not been me for the last 12 years of my career, but I'll take it as a compliment."

Page continued, "I honestly think (the IMPACT writers) have a checklist that they need to make sure that they get taken care of. So I guess Moose's name or Eddie Edwards' name will be checked off before Ethan Page's is, and by the time they get to my name, maybe there's no time left in the show. I don't know," he wondered. They're definitely open to actually sitting and talking to talent, which is important to me. At least I get my voice heard or someone will pick up the phone when I call."

IMPACT recently signed Page's longtime friend and tag team partner Josh Alexander to a three-year deal. IMPACT has also signed Sami Callihan, Moose, Eddie Edwards and more to new deals over the past few weeks. SEScoops reported that talent was signed in October but just now announced
