Ethan Page retains his gold.
After weeks of attacks and phantom three counts at the hands of Oro Mensah, Ethan Page successfully defended the WWE NXT Championship against his rival on August 6 during the second week of the NXT Great American Bash.
While Oro Mensah got a close near fall off of a cartwheel kick, Page got the official three-count in his rivalry with Mensah after hitting Ego’s Edge.
