All Ego. All Champion.
Ethan Page captured the NXT Championship at NXT Heatwave, winning a four-way bout that featured defending champion Trick Williams, Shawn Spears, and Je'Von Evans.
The finish saw Trick hit the Trick Shot on Evans and then a Trick Shot on Page. Page fell onto Evans, and Spears pulled the leg of Trick, preventing him from making the cover or the save.

This marks the first reign as NXT Champion for Ethan Page. Williams held the title for 76. He made one successful title defense.
Evans earned his title shot by winning the 25-man battle royal on the June 18th episode of NXT. However, Page was never eliminated from the battle royal and then he defeated Evans in the main event later in the night. On the June 25th episode, Spears defeated Williams in the main event, putting himself in the title picture. The fatal four-way was made official by NXT GM Ava after the bout.
