EVIL targets Tama Tonga.
EVIL made his intentions clear at NJPW New Year Dash, cutting the hair of Tama Tonga after handcuffing him and showing that he wants the NEVER Openweight Championship.
The attack came after House of Torture (Dick Togo, SHO, Yoshinobu Kanemaru, EVIL, Yujiro Takahashi & Ren Narita) defeated Shota Umino, El Desperado, Master Wato, Tama Tonga, Tomoaki Honma, & Togi Makabe.
Yoshinobu Kanemaru also hinted that he wanted the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship, which is currently held by El Desperado.

Tonga won the NEVER Openweight Title from Shingo Takagi at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 18. After the bout, he stated January was his last month in NJPW and he wanted to find work closer to home.
