B Cool says he knew his shoulder was hurt during his ScrapperMania performance.
At OTT ScrapperMania last year, B Cool would look to pull double duty and claim the OTT World Title. With his team winning a tag team bout earlier in the night, the Irish wrestler would go on to defeat Trent Seven to capture the OTT World Championship. However, B Cool would be forced to vacate his championship on the very next night due to a shoulder injury.
While speaking to Fightful's Corey Brennan in a new interview, B Cool discussed the injury and if he knew how bad it was during his match with Seven.
"I was hurt. I felt it, but you finish the match. I was hurt. The adrenaline did carry me through. My head could have been hanging off. That was such a defining moment for me to win the OTT World Heavyweight Championship. Who would have thought that 10 years ago? I don't think anyone. So that was a, that was a great moment. I hurt my shoulder in the the match the tag team match beforehand. That's when i hurt it and i didn't obviously know how serious it was until later on. Than a good bit later on. I was, I think maybe in the back of my head i knew. Because I had torn my rotator cuff before, and I think I was just trying to ignore it, enjoy the moment, embrace it, and then it just got too sore to ignore, basically."
B Cool is currently scheduled to return from his injury at this weekend's OTT Loco Rumble as he looks to go back to back.
