Bronson Reed says there is no replica of the Andre the Giant Battle Royal trophy to take home, but he has considered dying in action figure gold and putting it around his neck.
Bronson Reed is one of the many individuals who was victorious in the Andre the Giant Battle Royal during the WrestleMania weekend. He won the Battle Royal on WrestleMania SmackDown in 2024. However, unlike many championship belts wrestlers win, there is no replica of the trophy to keep as a souvenir.
Speaking to Sean Ross Sapp, Bronson Reed revealed that he asked those who work in the merchandise department about a souvenir trophy. Unfortunately, only one trophy is awarded each year, and the only memory for those who win it is the plaque on the trophy, which adds their name to the list of winners.
“I have a replica North American Championship. I asked the merchandise people, ‘Is there a replica Andre the Giant battle royal trophy?’[Laughs] They’re like, ‘No, it’s just one.’ So the one you see, they put the different names on every year. So that stays there, and my name’s been added. Next year, someone else’s name will be added. So, unfortunately, I don’t get to take that home. But I was hoping…There’s gotta be someone that would [make a replica]. I said if not, I’ve been thinking about...I have a bunch of Andre figures. I might have to just spray paint one of them gold and wear it on a chain [laughs]."
In the past, Bronson Reed referred to the trophy as a launching pad. Read those comments here.
