Bronson Reed doesn't necessarily think he and Otis will need to be paired as the new Natural Disasters anytime soon, but it's a good idea for the back pocket.
Bronson Reed made headlines when he joked that he and Otis could be paired together as the new Natural Disasters if they ever got in a pinch and needed a new gimmick. Of course, the original Natural Disasters tag team was comprised of Earthquake and Typhoon. The tag team allowed Earthquake to win gold in WWE as his singles career was put on hold.
Speaking to Sean Ross Sapp, Bronson Reed explained that he doesn't think they'll need to be paired together as a team, but he thinks he could rename himself "Tsunami," and Otis can become "Landslide" if necessary.
“I think it’s one of those back pocket things. I hope Otis isn’t going anywhere. I think he’s [a] very popular sort of guy, so if all else fails, I want to be a big singles competitor, but there’s always that in the back pocket of Natural Disasters 2.0. Like I said, I’m Tsunami, so he has to be Landslide or something like that [laughs]."
Crazier things have happened in WWE. Heidenreich was once a member of the Legion of Doom, Leif Cassidy was a Rocker, and even Carlito has joined Judgment Day. Maybe one day, Tsunami and Landslide will be holding WWE Tag Team Championship gold.
