Luckily for CM Punk, Larry didn't go the way of Pepper.
Drew McIntyre was the 2024 winner of Fightful's Big Boss Man Memorial Hater of the Year Award. In 2024, no one was as keen on throwing shade at those who wronged him as "The Scottish Psychopath." While he didn't quite reach the heinous heights of Big Boss Man, who abducted the casket of Big Show's storyline father mid-funeral and fed Al Snow's dog, Pepper, to him in the form of a Pepper Steak, McIntyre's hatred of The Bloodline and CM Punk was unwavering and in the end, that's what nabbed him the award.
During his acceptance speech, he told CM Punk that he was lucky he didn't go that far and feed Punk his own beloved dog, Larry. He also promised to continue being the biggest "justified prick" in 2025.
"I've no idea who actually voted for this award, if it was those who run Fightful, Sean Ross Sapp himself, or if it was the fans. Whatever marks it was, at least you don't have short-term memories like so many other people. The latest promo they heard was 'the greatest promo of all time.' The latest match they saw was 'Match of the Year.' Freaking morons. That's why you can't put stock in anything. Yeah, I was biggest prick of the year, justified prick of the year in 2024 I'll be the biggest justified prick in 2025 but if I've not won your Wrestler of the Year, your Promo of the Year, every other category after the '24 I had, it all means nothing anyway, doesn't it? On the plus side for you guys, unlike all of the other awards I won, This is actually pretty nice. Look at that thing. I like that it's dedicated to Big Boss Man. CM Punk is lucky I didn't kick a stupid-looking dog like Boss Man and feed it to him, but yeah, unlike so many of our Superstars, I'm not a big mark, and my house is not a shrine to myself, so it'll live nicely in my closet. Anyway, go screw yourselves. I'm the best. Happy New Year."
