Smackdown Live this week was wrestling heavy, as WWE looked to push forward to their Money in the Bank pay-per-view by establishing qualifying matches.
Once again, Fightful.com has obtained information about which backstage workers in WWE helped in producing and laying out matches on Smackdown Live. It should be noted that producers can lay out an entire match, or lend virtually no help to the match, as wrestlers themselves often contribute significantly.
The evening kicked off with The Miz defeating WWE United States Champion Jeff Hardy. The bout wasn't a title match, but was a Money in the Bank ladder match qualifying contest and was given high marks for the finish that saw Miz crucifix Hardy for the win. Former WCW Cruiserweight Champion Dean Malenko produced it.
Another qualifying match in the form of Carmella and Charlotte Flair didn't sit quite as well with our panel, and was produced by Sarah Stock. Tyson Kidd, who also help's put together women's matches, contributed to the Becky Lynch vs. Mandy Rose contest.
One of the better matches on the show saw WWE Hall of Famer Arn Anderson lend his expertise to Xavier Woods and Cesaro for their match, while Michael "P.S" Hayes produced the main event qualifier between Rusev and Daniel Bryan.
Fightful.com also posted information about who produced WWE Backlash matches on Sunday. You can get more news on this in Friday's Fightful Wrestling Weekly, as well as the FightfulSelect.com Weekender Podcast.
