Geoff Cole has high praise for Shane Sabre.
Sabre is currently making a name for himself on the independent scene, primarily competing in promotions like Alpha-1 Wrestling and Sanctuary Fight Club.
Sabre is also seeming a big part of Northern Crown Wrestling, a small but growing promotion based out of Toronto, Canada.
While speaking to Fightful Overbooked's Indied podcast for a new interview, Geoff Cole talked about Sabre and how he is deeply involved with Northern Crown.
"Sabre on the other hand, he’s the guy that just doesn’t stop. His brain is Northern Crown 24/7. It doesn’t matter what time of day it is, he hits me up, hey can we do this, hey should we do that and he definitely keeps that ball rolling. I got a four year old kid and another one on the way in a month, so things can get a little bit busy on my end but Sabre is that guy that’s always in the trenches non-stop, going to stores, looking for sponsors, looking for talent. He doesn’t stop. We get like ten different fantasy booking cards before we even pick a date for when the next show is going to be and it’s just him constantly keeping himself so involved in the concept, which is awesome, we need that. I don’t even know what I do with the company to be honest. [laughs]”
