Jessica Troy talks possibly facing off with Zack Sabre Jr.
On the same weekend that Troy captured the PWA World Championship, Zack Sabre Jr won the Colosseum event and would later tease a match with the PWA World Champion.
While speaking to Fightful's Corey Brennan in a recent interview, Jessica was asked about that tease and a possible match with Zack. Troy admitted that she was at the curtain listening to Sabre Jr's teases, and would love to have the match in the future.
"Oh, I'd love to. Yeah, he's one of my favorite wrestlers. He hinted at that and I was at the curtain and with my ear being like 'is he saying my name?' It's very scary i'm sure it'll twist my body in ways it's not meant to be twisted but um i'd love to do that. Je's been one of my favorite wrestlers like since i've started watching wrestling as well so that'd be a pretty cool full circle moment there."
At present, Troy is scheduled to defend her championship vs Delta later this month in what is being regarded as Delta's swan song in Australian professional wrestling.
