Mandy Rose is still holding out hope that she will one day win the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship with Sonya Deville
Mandy Rose debuted on WWE’s main roster from NXT as part of a trio known as Absolution. Sonya Deville was also a part of that group with her. Mandy and Sonya were slated to have major hair vs. hair match at last year’s SummerSlam but that match turned into a loser leaves WWE match after Sonya was the victim of a home invasion end needed time away from the ring
In an exclusive interview with Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp, Mandy Rose reveals that she is open to reforming that tag team with Sonya Deville one day, hoping that they would eventually be able to become Tag Team Champions and is really excited to see Deville return to the ring.
“It's something that I've always looked at like, 'maybe in the future,' we'd rekindle, get back, and win those Tag Team Championships. It's always something, for sure. I'm really excited for Sonya and the next couple of months and however it pans out because she has been out of the ring for a really long time so I feel people are really excited to get her back in the ring, which we saw a little glimpse of. I'm really excited for her.”
