While speaking to Fightful for a new interview, Mark Briscoe was asked to recall a time where he was hit hard by a fellow wrestler. In response, Briscoe brought up an instance where Homicide gave him a headbutt to the direct center of his face.

"The first thing that comes to mind is when we wrestled Homicide and Hernandez. Homicide, we’re buddies from way back, so when you’re in there with your buddies, it gets hot and heavy. I throw a kick, he catches my foot, and I smacked him full on right on the face. His eyes went black. He threw my leg down and just headbutted me directly in the bullseye of my face. Tears and blood. I guess that what I get. That’s the first thing that comes to mind. I’ve been hit hard many times."

Elsewhere in the interview, Briscoe joked about being a punching bag for Charlie Haas in the early 2000s. Learn more about those comments here.
