Mark Haskins dismisses Kid Lykos II as a possible opponent.
This weekend at Progress Super Strong Style 16, Kid Lykos II will look to achieve what his tag team partner and Progress World Champion Kid Lykos achieved last year and that is winning the Super Strong Style 16 tournament. Meanwhile Mark Haskins will look to avenge his loss to Lykos in last years tournament finals as he looks to win the Progress World Title.
While speaking to Fightful's Corey Brennan in a recent interview, Haskins was asked about the possibility of a meeting with Lykos II should both of them be successful in their matches this weekend.
"Kid Lykos II is an absolute wet blanket. I have less respect for him than I do for Kid Lykos, which is already at an all-time low. So no, I don't care. Do you know what I mean? It's like, oh, this guy who's standing across the ring from me and pretending, you know, using his big boy voice, do you know what I'm saying? His lackey, you think I'm going to fear Kid Lykos 2? You're trying to be a rip-off of an individual that I already actively dislike. So no, I don't care. If Kid Lykos II wins the tournament, then I would say that British Wrestling is even more doomed than I already thought it was."
Elsewhere in Haskins' interview with Fightful, he asked the question of if Kid Lykos is completely delusional. You can read more about that here.
In a seperate interview with Fightful, Kid Lykos chose to back Kid Lykos II to win this years Super Strong Style 16 tournament. You can read more about that here.
