Maya World wants to go to Japan.
Despite being in the world of wrestling for a little under two years, Maya World is already being lauded as one of the best up-and-coming wrestlers on the independent scene.
World's tag team partner, Jada Stone, recently visited Japan for a mini-tour with Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling. World wants that same opportunity, saying that she would drop everything to wrestle in the country.
"That’s my number one thing that I want to do. I would drop everything right now if I could go to Japan tomorrow. Me and Jada Stone, that’s all we talk about. Anytime we’re together, that’s all we talk about. I’m glad she got to go over there and do TJPW. I’ve been rooting for her along the way because I know soon it’s going to be me. Hopefully we can both be there at the same time because we are a tag team. That’s my number one goal and desire, besides getting signed, of course, that’s the biggest thing I want to do in wrestling; go to Japan." World said in a recent interview with Jeremy Lambert and SP3 of Fightful Overbooked's In The Weeds podcast.
