Mick Foley will stay connected to WWE.
Foley made headlines with his thoughts on the Vince McMahon lawsuit, saying “I feel really bad that someone I care about got into something that seems pretty unsavory. I’m gonna hold off judgment until I see the [Netflix docuseries]. But I think one thing that’s fortunate is, whatever he did or did not do, I don’t think many of us are allowing that to mess with our memories. He was instrumental in creating some of those memories. So I’m choosing to appreciate him until I learn more about what may have gone down.”
Though Mick Foley has been advised against wrestling a farewell match as he’d hoped he’d be able to do, he’s not completely done with wrestling.
After this news, Fightful Select sources indicated that Mick Foley at some point had re-signed a WWE Legends deal at some point.
Foley is rarely if ever featured on WWE programming these days, but will still be included on merchandise, video games, action figures and the like, per the terms of the deal.
