Moose previews his bout with Alex Shelley.
Moose is set to defend the TNA World Heavyweight Title at TNA No Surrender in a rematch against Alex Shelley. Moose defeated Shelley to win the title at TNA Hard to Kill.
The two men will compete in a No Surrender match, which stipulates that a person from the opposing corner must throw in the towel to stop the match. Moose will be cornered by Eddie Edwards & Brian Myers while Shelley will have KUSHIDA & Kevin Knight in his corner.
Speaking to Jeremy Lambert & Joel Pearl on In The Weeds, Moose commented on the bout.
"We know how The System works. I've already talked to those guys. I've talked with Lish, Eddie, and Myers. They know, under no circumstances, to throw the towel in. I can't say the same for Alex Shelley because I'm fixing to do a lot of terrible things to him. I guarantee I'm going to walk out the victor. When you hear 'Moose,' you don't think about all these gimmick matches. I've been in more gimmick matches than anybody in the history of TNA. There's another for it, No Surrender match, Moose is part of it. I'm planning on being victorious and hurting Alex Shelley very badly. I'm going to make sure somebody from his team throws in the towel," he said.
Asked what "terrible things" he has in store for Shelley, Moose replied, "There will be blood. I'll just say that."
TNA No Surrender will air on IMPACT+ on February 23. Fans can check out the lineup for the show by clicking here.
