The AEW Devil debuted on the September 27 episode of AEW Dynamite, leading an attacking on Jay White. In the months following the Devil's debut, the Devil has continued to lead attacks and pop up in various forms.
Rocky Romero has ties to just about every promotion in the world and has been a bridge for many company relationships in wrestling.
So, is Rocky Romero the AEW Devil?
"I wish I was because he's about to cash in and make a whole lot of money. He or she. I wish I was, and I wish I knew who it was because I want to know already. I was sad that we didn't find out at Full Gear. I was like, 'Ah man, we have to wait longer.' Hopefully, we'll fight out December 30," Romero said on In The Weeds with Jeremy Lambert & Joel Pearl.
The Devil hid behind a keyboard on Wednesday's AEW Dynamite, baiting MJF and Samoa Joe into a tag team match.
It is unknown when the Devil will be revealed.
Rocky will be in action at MLW One Shot when he defends the MLW World Middleweight Championship and the NWA World Historic Welterweight Championship against Máscara Dorada.
