Steph De Lander praises Xia Brookside.
Steph De Lander and Xia Brookside have become somewhat besties on TNA iMPACT! as Xia has tried to reassure her of things in her romantic relationship with PCO.
Speaking to Jeremy Lambert and Joel Pearl on In The Weeds, Steph was asked how it's been working with Xia.
"It's crazy because Xia and I have known each other for a long time, but not in a close way because she's from the UK and I'm from Australia, and now we're both in America. When I did my WWE tryout in 2019 in the UK, she was there training at the PC. We got to spend some time there together and get to know each other a little bit. We've always kind of been in the same circle but never worked closely together. Now, working together, she adds a lot of value to everything in ways that you wouldn't expect. Even if it's little facial expressions and her demeanor is very entertaining and quirky. I have to give her credit. In moments that I was unsure about this, do I want to go on a date with this giant crazy man? She was the one that was kind of pushing that along, as a true bestie does, forcing you to go on a date that you're unsure about. It ended up well. I have to give Xia credit. She's the little cupid of this entire situation," said Steph.
