Steve Maclin talks TNA’s Slammiversary success.
On July 20, 2024, TNA held their annual Slammiversary event at the at Verdun Auditorium in Montreal. The show was a huge success for TNA, as tickets sold out days before the event even took place.
While speaking with Fightful for a new interview, Steve Maclin talked about the Slammiversary sellout and stated the company is moving in the right direction.
“It just means we're doing the right thing. TNA is moving in the right direction. The momentum is there. Obviously, now with the relationship with NXT and TNA is maybe boosting that, but I think we were kind of on that ride and it just kind of added to the wave. Just let more people hop on and people are getting more eyes on what TNA is and what it's been doing for the past three years since I've been here. We're on this rise and it's so cool right now to be a part of something like this because I got to be a part of the beginning of NXT, when I first got there in NXT with black and gold was getting that rush. It's kind of the same vibe here now with TNA where here we are getting into this new generation of this rebirth of what TNA is and getting more eyes on the product and now with the TNA+ app getting more people to watch that—so, please subscribe to the TNA+ app and you get to watch everything.
