Storm beat out Athena, Rhea Ripley, & Becky Lynch to win the award. In our special awards show, which aired on January 31, Storm arguably cut one of the best promos of her career in her acceptance speech, saying that she would've even won the award over the men that were nominated.

“Yes Luther, just put in the pile with the others. Hello readers of wrestling periodical Fightful. This is your and mine AEW Women’s World Champion, here to graciously accept your award for best female promo, like you had any other choice [laughs]. It’s really not that hard, you just have to say tits a lot. I mean seriously, am I the only woman that speaks? Well, you don’t hear much from the spider lady anymore. To be quite honest with you, I would’ve won this award over the men. Oh, what’s that now, you’re angry and demand respect? How creative. Yes, I’d like to thank my writing team Schoward Schwartz, Gene Parrott, and Martha Bolton. I hope to one day pay you all scale. Thank you darling.”

In 2022, Dr. Britt Baker DMD won the 'Women's Best On Promos' award at the inaugural Fightful awards.
