- Bad Luck Fale and Tanga Loa faced CHAOS members Jay White and Rocky Romero on Day 8 of the G1 Climax. White and Fale spoke to reporters after the match about their upcoming singles match.
- NJPW shared these images of a new Kenny Omega figure which is available in the promotion's shop.
- SANADA defeated Kota Ibushi on Day 8. He addressed the crowd and then he and Ibushi spoke to reporters about the pivotal tournament match.
- Tama Tonga and Roman Reigns got into a Twitter war this week and Kenny Omega made a sly comment about it. This inspired Tonga to insult Reigns again and throw a job towards Omega.
- On Day 8, Minoru Suzuki was in a tag team match against Michael Elgin and told reporters he was ready for their match on Day 9 which Suzuki won.
- Kota Ibushi pulled off this Frankensteiner in his Day 8 match against SANADA.
