Flip Gordon Getting ROH World Championship Match At Supercard Of Honor

Flip Gordon is getting a chance to wrestle for the Ring of Honor title.

ROH announced that Gordon will get an ROH World Championship match at the Supercard of Honor show taking place on April 4 in Lakeland, Florida. Gordon will now have the chance to win his first singles title in ROH.

Although Gordon's spot in the match is secured, his opponent has not been revealed. That's because the current champion, RUSH, is set to defend his title against Mark Haskins at the ROH 18th Anniversary card.

The ROH World Championship has changed hands a couple of times in the past few months. RUSH had the belt throughout most of the second half of 2019 until he dropped it to PCO, Gordon's stablemate at Villain Enterprises. PCO would go on to drop the belt to RUSH recently in a triple threat match that also involved Haskins at Gateway to Honor. Full results of Gateway to Honor can be seen here.
