Now the question is... who will walk into Lakeland as ROH World Champion to face Flip? Will it be the new ROH world champion @rushtoroblanco? #WatchROH to find out! pic.twitter.com/Z8ddVn9v2R
Although Gordon's spot in the match is secured, his opponent has not been revealed. That's because the current champion, RUSH, is set to defend his title against Mark Haskins at the ROH 18th Anniversary card.
The ROH World Championship has changed hands a couple of times in the past few months. RUSH had the belt throughout most of the second half of 2019 until he dropped it to PCO, Gordon's stablemate at Villain Enterprises. PCO would go on to drop the belt to RUSH recently in a triple threat match that also involved Haskins at Gateway to Honor. Full results of Gateway to Honor can be seen here.
