During the June 7 episode of WWE SmackDown, former UFC Women's Flyweight Champion Valentina Shevchenko was shown in the crowd.

Additionally, UFC's Brendan Fitzgerald, Laura Sanko, and Paul Felder were shown in the crowd during the June 7 episode of WWE SmackDown.

TKO promoted how WWE and UFC teamed up to visit Norton Children's and the Muhammad Ali Center ahead of WWE SmackDown.

WWE and UFC merged to form TKO in September 2023, and fans have seen more crossover between the two ever since. WWE will hold NXT Battleground at the UFC Apex on June 9.
