Gisele Shaw says there were talks about a possible tag team run with Gail Kim.
Kim and Shaw have been associated with each other for some time now, as Kim brought Shaw into TNA in 2022. Alongside their team-up for a season of 'The Amazing Race: Canada' back in 2023, Kim was also featured in Shaw's TNA return vignettes in 2024.
As it turns out, there was some talks about Kim and Shaw actually having a tag team run in TNA. While chatting with Ring The Belle for a new interview, Shaw talked about this, saying that she didn't take the situation personally when it didn't work out.
“Yeah so, there were talks about her and I actually and doing a tag team run. But you know what, as much as I would have loved that to happen obviously, things change in wrestling and it’s like, the business changes constantly, you can’t really take that personally. It was a thought, it was a great thought, but sometimes thoughts don’t become reality and that’s okay.”
