The Great Khali is the latest name added to the 2021 WWE Hall of Fame class.
The Hall of Fame that started with Andre the Giant will now have a new giant-sized inductee added to its ranks in 2021.
As first seen on WWE Now India, The Great Khali will join Molly Holly and Eric Bischoff as part of this year’s prestigious class. Khali was given the news by his former manager, Ranjin Singh.
Khali joined WWE in 2006 and made an immediate impact by decimating the Undertaker upon his arrival. Khali would etch his place in history with a world heavyweight championship win in the summer of 2007.
In later years, Khali would become more of a light-hearted character and be dubbed “The Punjabi Playboy.”
Now, Khali is giving back to wrestling by way of his promotion in India. Of course, WWE is trying to break into the Indian market with events such as Superstar Spectacle, featuring new giants, Giant Zanjeer and Dilsher Shanky hoping to one day be named WWE Hall of Famers.
Congratulations to The Great Khali.
