Big tag team match signed for War of the Worlds.
ROH announced that the Guerrillas of Destiny (Tama Tonga & Tanga Loa) will meet The Briscoes (Jay & Mark Briscoe) at ROH-NJPW War of the Worlds on May 12 in Chicago. The bout will be for the ROH World Tag Team Titles, assuming GOD defeat Jay Lethal & Jonathan Gresham on May 8 in Buffalo.
The two teams were set to square off at ROH-NJPW G1 Supercard after The Briscoes challenged GOD to a title vs. title bout at Honor Rising. However, the Briscoes would lose their ROH World Tag Team Titles to PCO & Brody King prior to G1 Supercard and the match was turned into a fatal four-way that also included EVIL & SANADA. Tonga & Loa would win the fatal four-way, retaining the IWGP Tag Team Titles and winning the ROH World Tag Team Titles.
The two teams have been going back-and-forth on social media ever since G1 Supercard.
