Great Muta gets opponents for his final match.
Pro Wrestling NOAH announced that Hakushi, AKIRA, and Naomichi Marufuji will team to face Sting, Darby Allin, and The Great Muta in Muta's final bout on January 22.
The event is being billed as "Great Muta Final Bye Bye" and will take place at Yokohama Arena.
AKIRA and Muta have been teammates and on the opposite side of the ring from each other throughout their respective careers. Hakushi teamed with Muta in 2021 and has faced him multiple times in his career. Marufuji is also a man who has teamed with and faced Muta throughout his career.

January 22 will mark the last match for the Great Muta, but Keiji Muto won't have his last match until February 21. Muto had his last NJPW match at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 17.
