Jay Lethal steps up to the plate.
Hangman Page has attacked Jeff Jarrett multiple times in recent weeks. Most recently, he blindsided Jarrett backstage after the August 7th episode of AEW Dynamite went off the air.
On the August 9th episode of AEW Rampage, Jay Lethal targeted Hangman Page in a taped message as he said that he had enough of Page attacking Jarrett and doing whatever he wanted. He challenged Page to a match on the August 14th episode of AEW Dynamite and said he was stepping up to the plate. AEW then confirmed the match.
