The Hardys want to face the former champions.
Throughout their legendary career, The Hardys (Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy) have faced many of the top tag teams in wrestling. However, plenty of first-time matches are still on the table. Among others, the duo have yet to face the Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley), who made their WWE debut in October 2024. The Hardys reunited in TNA at TNA Against All Odds, and they won the TNA World Tag Team Championship at TNA Bound For Glory.
Speaking with Stew Myrick for Sports Guys Talking Wrestling, The Hardys were asked whether there was a team they hadn't worked with yet that they wanted to face.
Jeff Hardy: I know Matt mentioned this, I hadn’t really thought about it at all, but we’ve never had a match with the Motor City Machine Guns.
Matt Hardy: They kind of stand out.
JH: Being that they’re back in [WWE] now and killing it, and The Rascalz was the other team, but we’re about to bring that into reality. So yeah, it was The Rascalz and the Motor City Machine Guns that we had never had a match with, but this one with The Rascalz is about to go down.
